Patience is a Virtue

Ameni. Hope all is well today.

Today we would like to talk about patience. There are those that say they lack patience, but this is only because they don't understand the energy of patience. Hopefully this blog post will clarify or reaffirm the energy for you.

What is patience? Many think that this is simply waiting, and in some respects, they're right. Whenever you manifest something, we do find ourselves in this hiatus period between manifestations. However, its during this hiatus period that the energy of patience is vital. Many have said that life is about the journey, not the destination, and this is also true. Nipsey said this in his own way through the analogy of "The Marathon," where you have where you are, where you're going, and the things you go through in-between. It is the in-between part that shapes us into what we are becoming. But how and why is patience so powerful? Why must we have it?

The answer is this: Belief or Faith. The power that shapes religions and arts, that creates empires and the futures of tomorrow. It drives most, if not all, of our actions. "Faith without works is dead," however faith is still a vital part of this saying. How can you do something if you don't believe in it? How will you continue if you don't have the faith that it will succeed? This... is the unseen part of patience.

The key to being patient is that you KNOW that your act, vision or goal will come to fruition. By understanding this, you know to enjoy the process of allowing what may happen to unfold. Picture going on a trip to your favorite vacation spot, or going on a trip in general. We know where we're going, what to do when we get there, and why. Because of these sentiments, along with the knowing (aka belief or faith) that we will get there, anything that happens along the way is a part of the trip and actually adds to the experience. We notice this whenever people discuss trips or vacations. Why would your life not be the same? If you know your purpose and what it will manifest for you, then accepting the things that happen along the way shouldn't be difficult, but we make it out that way due to instant gratification. Small steps, great distances.

Don't be impatient. Enjoy the trip, because the destination is just as sweet as the journey to get there.

Meditate on this today. Ameni.
