The reality of Life is that at the end of the day, THERE IS NO ONE COMING TO YOUR AID, EVER.
Yes, that sounds harsh, and very nihilistic. Allow me to explain.
I don't have to tell the reader that Cause and Effect is a real thing. You reap what you sow. You get back in Life what you put out in Life. No one can escape this. There is no such thing as something for nothing. You cannot think negatively and receive good.
The Most High created us to... create. That's why in Life, there are so many options, "distractions" and possibilities. The Infinite Intelligence created an Infinite Universe for us to create in and gave us the tools to create in it, those tools being Mind and Speech. Nothing is truly "bad" or "good." What we call bad is only our misalignment. What we call good is only our alignment. These are just reminders to think about as we proceed.
The previous paragraph in mind, let's paint a picture. In fact, I'll use the metaphor of a painter to illustrate the point. Let's say a man is a very skilled painter. He has trained for many years, and has the imagination and ingenuity to create any painting he desires. He has all the tools, from different canvases, to paint brushes, to various paints and even the colors to paint the most masterful pieces anyone has ever seen. This knowledge is also not lost on those who know the painter. He is known as someone who is masterful at his craft. All people seek him out to commission beautiful pieces for their homes, and he is well respected as a tradesman and artist.
Now...
How funny or "crazy" would it be if this masterful creator were to ask for help in creating a painting? Knowing what we know about this painter, to ask for help, having all the tools, having all the knowledge, and having all the skills necessary to do anything he desires, how interesting and mind boggling would it be if he not only asked for help, but didn't even start the painting to begin with? Would he still have the same respect? How or why would anyone offer to help this master craftsman, knowing what he knows everything he needs to succeed?
We've all heard the phrase, or something similar: "Why help anyone who won't help himself?" This is true of you asking for help from others, and even you asking help from God. Yes.. I just said that.
The Most High gave you all the tools you need to create anything in Life you desire, and so long as you follow The Laws of the Universe (God), you can have it. Everyone has their own Life to create and experience. Why then, would either people or The Force That Governs All do anything for you if you don't use the tools you were given? Jesus himself said men could be like him and greater. He was an EXAMPLE, not you savior. He showcased what is possible when you truly trust God (The Laws of The Universe, The Force That Governs All) and ultimately yourself.
Reflect on this today. Amani (which means "peace" in Swahili).
