The Art of Inspiration

Ameni. We hope all is well for you today. Today we have an exert from the poetry book, "The Art of Inspiration: The Highest Human Act." We think that this will not only prove to be helpful, but is very fitting for the times we're in.

"The highest human act is to inspire. There are writers and talents such as Nipsey Hussle or Langston Hughes, who inspire us with rhythm, music and poetry or acts for the good of their communities. There are creative minds such as Nickola Tesla and Basquiat, who push the limits of the human psyche and invent amazing technologies. There are athletes such as Kobe Bryant, who dare us to never stop working on ourselves. There are healers, herbalists and holistic medicine practitioners such as Dr. Sebi, who help us understand the best ways for our body, mind and soul to grow and thrive. And then there are the countless and nameless individuals who use their voice and influence to stand up against the tyranny and wrongdoings of humankind. These people all have one thing in common; they somehow convince us to be the best version of ourselves. No matter your walk of Life, background, or other temporary labels, this is the Ultimate Goal of Our Existence. We tend to get caught up in our daily lives, forgetting who may be watching us. This means that in some way, we must lead by example. By being the best version of ourselves and showing others our authentic self, they eventually feel compelled to better themselves. The question then becomes – how do we achieve this? You may feel you don’t have the means. You may feel you aren’t 'good enough. ' But by simply doing what you can & doing so to the best of your ability, you may be surprised at who you inspire.

Our thoughts tend to get cluttered with the debris of the world we see. The effect of this clutter is losing out on our dreams, goals and what Paulo Coelho calls our 'Personal Legends,' aka our Destiny. Feel free to read this as often as you are able, and my sincerest wish is that you read this book, feel a moment of clarity, and most importantly, feel driven to accomplish your Divine Purpose.

I’ll leave you with my favorite quote from my favorite video game:

"May your heart be your guiding key."
